Samsung shows off a new mascot ahead of Galaxy M51 launch in India

Samsung will be launching its next-generation Galaxy M series smartphone, that is, the Samsung Galaxy M51 in India on September 10. Ahead of the official launch, Samsung has unveiled a new mascot that will be associated with all of the company's M-series smartphones in India.

The new mascot called Mo-B is an adorable, fluffy ball of mischief with big curious eyes and sharp teeth. “Mo-B believes he's a star and deserves to be worshipped...Mo-B knows the only way to claim the ‘Meanest Monster Ever' moniker is by taking on Galaxy M51,” Samsung explained adding that the voiceover for Mo-B has being done by famous voice-over artist Ashwin Mushran.

Over the next few days leading to the launch of the Galaxy M51 smartphone, Samsung's Green Monster Mo-B will interact with a string of influencers and celebrities to make his case as the meanest monster ever, across leading digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, among others. In addition to that Mo-B will challenge the upcoming Galaxy M51 smartphone across these digital platforms and channels.

Apart from social media platforms, Mo-B will also be live on multiple video streaming platforms and OTT channels. It will also feature prominently on Amazon. Samsung says that consumers can participate in quizzes on Mo-B to win exciting prizes.

Samsung Galaxy M51 specs

Samsung has already launched the Galaxy M51 smartphone in Germany. It has a 6.7-inch full HD+ super AMOLED+ display with an infinity-O cutout. It sports an octa-core processor that is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It sports a quad-camera setup, which consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. There's a 32-megapixel selfie camera in the front. It has a massive 7,000mAh battery.
