Finally, someone has dug up dirt on the new Nexus smartphones that Google is launching with HTC later this year. Going by the name of Sailfish and Marlin, reports suggest that both the Nexus smartphones launching this year, unlike last year's, will sports same configurations in different sizes.
Last year, Google brought us two Nexus smartphones -- LG's 5x and Huawei's 6p. While the 6p had flagships specs in a phablet demeanour, the 5x was compact but underpowered. according to reports, Salfish and Marlin are will apparently have the same specs.
According to the reports, the phones will features a 5-inch and 5.5-inch AMOLED displays, quad-core Qualcomm processor, 4GB of RAM, 32/128GB storage, 12-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, rear fingerprint sensor, bottom speakers, Bluetooth 4.2 and up to 3,450 mAh battery.
However, you'll have to wait till September for any hint of pricing or confirmation of the configuration.
