Many viewers, who were still getting familiar with the web series format, instantly became hooked to the production value, story and acting in the series. Soon, the show reached cult status. However, despite regular queries from the fans, the makers never spoke about a second season for the show. But now, the wait is finally over as Pitchers season 2 OTT release is finally here. The series has been created by The Viral Fever (TVF), the same production house behind shows like Panchayat and Kota Factory. While season one was originally released on YouTube, it is now available on the TVFPlay website. The show focuses on the startup life and the dream of a group of friends to break away from the monotony of nine-to-five jobs and starting their own big business.

The season 2 picks up after the events of season 1 as the group is now looking to get funded and expand their startup. It is believed that the show will go deeper into the nuances of the startup world including man management, project development, funding rounds and hirings. Even Ashneer Grover, Shark Tank judge and famous entrepreneur, made a promotional video with the cast of the show.

The season 2 features Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, Jitendra Kumar, Abhay Mahajan in pivotal roles who will all be reprising their season 1 characters.

The trailer for the show was posted on YouTube by Zee5 and it has garnered more than 24 million views, 3K likes and more than 700 comments. This alone highlights the popularity of the show.
