Redmi Note 7S: Xiaomi releases photo samples from new 48MP camera phone

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S with 48-megapixel dual rear cameras will launch in India on May 20.

Xiaomi today announced it will soon launch a new smartphone with 48-megapixel camera. Called Redmi Note 7S, the latest Xiaomi smartphone is scheduled to launch in India on May 20.

Ahead of the India launch, Xiaomi has released camera samples from its new Redmi Note 7S. The photo samples focus on Redmi Note 7S' daylight performance, depth when taking portrait shots, and lowlight performance.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi Note 7S will feature dual rear cameras. Here are some of the photo samples shared by Xiaomi.

Just like Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7S is expected to come with Sony's IMX586 sensor for 48-megapixel resolution. It's also expected to be priced lower than the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Xiaomi hasn't disclosed full details of its new phone yet. Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is available online at a starting price of 13,999, comes with 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
