The improvements are made in order to afford players realistic ball control, more lifelike tackles, dribbling, increased free kick options, and a boost to AI-controlled athletes.

This year will see three FIFA soccer releases for home consoles.

With FIFA Street making its comeback in March and the EURO 2012 tie-in transformed from the usual retail release into a download for last year's FIFA 12 in April, FIFA 13's anticiapted September launch date will see it jostle with Pro Evolution Soccer for supremacy once more.
