Wednesday saw the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones in an event in New York alongside a few other products such as the Samsung DeX, Gear 360 Camera, WiFi Connect Home and new Harman AKG earbuds.
Samsung on Wednesday launched its new flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones in a bid to bring back disgruntled customers in its ecosystem post the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.
However, the company didn't announce the price of the product during the presentation but reports now suggest that US prices have been announced and this can lead us to predict an approximate price of the phone that will be available globally from April 21. The company said that pre-orders of the phone will last till March 31.

According to the company, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will retail for a price of $720 which is approximately ₹46,000. However, the India edition of the device which will come with an Exynos processor may retail somewhere between ₹46,000 to ₹50,000.
The larger-screened Samsung Galaxy S8+ will set you ack for $840 in the US which is around ₹54,000. This means the Exynos-fitted Indian edition will range somewhere between ₹55,000 to ₹60,000.
This makes both the phones much cheaper than the recently released Google Pixel and the Apple iPhone 7, 7 Plus. Additionally, the phone comes with its Bixby assistant and Bluetooth 5 and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
