Medisana, maker of the Bluetooth-enabled iHealth Digital Scale and blood pressure monitor, just released its VitaDock series, allowing you to transform your iPhone into an at-home nursing station that captures your vital data such as blood pressure, body temperature, and blood glucose levels.

The VitaDock series, which launched this summer, includes a CardioDock blood pressure measuring device for €129.99, a ThermoDock infrared thermometer module for €79.99, and a GlucoDock blood glucose measuring device for €99.99 for managing diabetes. The series also works on the iPod Touch and iPad.

In addition, the VitaDock app keeps track of all of data and provides graphs and statistics, with separate accounts for up to four users on one device. Data can also be transferred to your doctor or family members via e-mail.

The series will be on display at this year's Health 2.0 Europe in Berlin on October 27 and 28, alongside other devices such as the brand-new Withings Smart Baby Monitor and OrcaHealth's array of health apps.

In the works, Medisana is also planning to release a body analysis scale dubbed TargetScale that automatically displays your target weight versus your actual weight in flashing LED circles, for motivation and/or a wakeup call. No exact release date is set but consumers can expect to pay €149.99 for the scale.

Following the success of San Francisco's recent Health 2.0, this year's Health 2.0 Europe is devoted to cutting-edge innovation in health technology and European makers of mobile health devices will be on hand to flaunt their wares. This year, the event will expand for the first time to New Delhi, India, on December 2. Similar events include Med-e-Tel, the Consumer Electronics Show, and eTELEMED.
