Vivo on Thursday launched its all-screen Nex smartphone in India. Vivo Nex stands out for its pop-up selfie camera and a full-screen display sans the notch. The all-screen display boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 91.24%. The concept smartphone was first unveiled at MWC 2018, and officially launched in China last month.Vivo Nex with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at ₹44,990, and will be available exclusively via Amazon India and Vivo’s e-store. Pre-orders for the smartphone on Amazon India will start today at 1:00 pm and continue till July 25. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. For photography, Vivo Nex sports a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 dual-pixel sensor and a 5-megapixel snapper. Up front, the pop-up selfie camera is an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone’s cameras come with AI features like AI scene detection and AI portrait framing. Vivo Nex also ships with Google Assistant and Google Lens along with a dedicated button on the phone to launch both the apps.The smartphone is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery. Vivo Nex is priced at Rs 44,990. It will be available starting July 21 exclusively via Amazon India and Vivo's e-store.
