WhatsApp now lets you format text in Bold and Italics
WhatsApp version 2.12.535 for Android has received a new set of features such as text formatting along with file sharing via Google Drive.

Facebook owned instant messaging application WhatsApp reportedly gets updated with a new set of features in version 2.12.535 for Android.
With the new update, users can now type text within messages in bold and italics. A feature that can be used while highlighting important parts of a text. To put a text in italics, users will have to add an underscore (_) sign at the beginning and end of a sentence, while adding an asterik (*) in the same way will highlight a sentence or word in bold, according to Android Authority.
In addition, new abilities have been added to WhatsApp document file sharing option. Users can now share a document via Google Drive. They can either select a PDF File, a Word document or a Power Point presentation from Google Drive, which will then be automatically converted to PDF format before it goes to other recipients.
The latest version of WhatsApp is not yet available on the PlayStore, interested users can however download the APK file here. All these changes seem rather handy for users, as they'll be able to do more while on the move.
