Xiaomi launch highlights: Mi LED TV 4, Mi Band 3, Mi Air Purifier 2S, and more
Xiaomi on Thursday launched a total of seven new products in India. The new ‘Smarter Living’ product lineup includes Mi LED TV 4 Pro, 4A Pro and 4C Pro, Mi Band 3, Mi Air Purifier 2S, Mi Home Security Camera and Mi Luggage.Xiaomi’s new Mi LED TV 4 series starts at ₹14,999, and comes with an updated Patchwall. Xiaomi has partnered with Google for Patchwall which is based on Android TV. With this integration, Patchwall now brings Google Play Store, YouTube app, and Chromecast built-in. The new Mi LED TVs will also come with Amazon Prime Video app. Xiaomi will be rolling out the new update to existing Mi TVs soon.The new Mi Band 3 features a larger OLED display, and is water resistant up to 50m. It also shows notifications from WhatsApp and the messages can be viewed on the smart band itself. Xiaomi’s new Mi Air Purifier 2S features a digital OLED display, precise air purification and smarter home integration. It also comes with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built-in. Mi Home Security Camera offers a 360-degree viewing angle along with a two-way audio. It supports full HD video recording and offers microSD card support up to 64GB. Xiaomi also introduced Mi Luggage which will be available in two sizes of 20-inch and 24-inch and colour options of grey, blue and red.Here are the highlights from today’s launch event.
Mi LED TV 4 Pro price
Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch is priced at Rs 49,999. It will go on sale on October 10 at 12 noon via Flipkart and mi.com. Mi LED TV 4A Pro 49-inch is priced at Rs 29,999. Its first sale will take place on October 9 via mi.com and Amazon India. Mi LED 4C Pro 32-inch is priced at Rs 14,999. It will also go on sale on October 9 at 9:00pm via mi.com and Amazon India.
All three products will be available later at Mi Home stores and retail outlets.
Mi TV lineup
The new Mi TVs are powered by the same 64-bit Amlogic processor, 3 HDMI and two USB ports. The lineup includes Mi LED TV 4 Pro (55-inch), Mi LED TV 4A Pro (49-inch), and Mi LED TV 4C (32-inch).
Xiaomi-Google partnership
Xiaomi has partnered with Android TV for its new Mi TVs. The integration brings Google Play Store, Chromecast built-in to the new Mi TVs. Xiaomi's voice search feature on the new Mi Remote is also powered by Google. This new updated Patchwall will be rolled out to all existing Mi TVs.

Xiaomi announces three new Mi TVs. The new Mi TVs ship with an updated Patchwall based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Xiaomi has added four new content partners on patchwall including JioCinema. The new Patchwall comes with voice control and built on Android TV. Patchwall has also partnered with Amazon for Prime Video. It will first come to the new Mi TVs, and later for the older models.

Mi Home Security Camera 360 offers 360-degree viewing angle, infrared night vision, Full HD video recording, 2-way audio and a microSD card slot with storage up to 64GB. The security camera offers footage storage up to five days of footage. It is priced at Rs 2,699. It will go on sale on October 10 along with the Mi luggage.

Xiaomi introduces a new category with the launch of Mi luggage. The new Mi luggage features a scratch resistant honeycomb design, TSA approved lock, shock absorbent and tear resistant wheels. It comes in 20-inch size in blue, grey and red and 24-inch in blue and grey. Mi luggage is priced at Rs 2,999 and Rs 4299. It will go on sale on October 10 midnight first via mi.com, and Amazon India. It will be available offline later in Mi Home stores and retail outlets.
Mi Air Purifier 2S sale
Mi Air Purifier 2S will go on sale tomorrow at 12:00 noon via mi.com and Amazon India. It will be available in Mi Home stores and retail outlets later.
Mi Air Purifier 2S digital assistants
Mi Air Purifier 2S comes with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant built-in. Users can also control it remotely via the Mi Home app.

Mi Band 3 .78-inch OLED display with 193 ppi pixel density. You can receive notifications and even read messages, and decline calls on the Mi Band 3. It has a curved 2.5D design, and a hypoallergenic durable strap. Mi Band 3 comes in black and two other straps of orange and blue. It is water resistant up to 50m and has a 110mAh battery.

Xiaomi's teasers confirm a new fitness band. The company will most likely launch the Mi Band 3 which was unveiled in China earlier this year with the Mi 8 smartphone. The new Mi Band 3 will come with a heart rate sensor.
New air purifier
Xiaomi will be launching an air purifier in India after two years. The last Mi Air Purifier 2 was launched back in September 2016.
