The past two months have been busy for the tech sector, with new smartphones launching one after the other. The showstoppers were the Huawei P20 Pro, Honor 10 and the much-hyped recent OnePlus 6. But looking forward, the next two weeks are set to be packed with more smartphones in the flagship and premium segments.

We'll be seeing phones from Xiaomi, which is bringing out its flagship device, Mi 8. Lenovo plans to surprise with its new Z5 smartphone, which will offer a whopping 4TB inbuilt storage. BlackBerry will make its comeback with KEY2, a successor to the KEYOne smartphone. Lenovo-owned Motorola also has an event ready possibly launching the Moto Z3 Play smartphone.

Xiaomi Mi 8

Xiaomi has announced the launch of Mi 8 in China on May 31. The event also commemorates the company's eighth anniversary which is presumed to be the reason behind the '8' moniker. Xiaomi's current flagship smartphone is Mi 6. The company will also launch a new version of its custom UI, MIUI 10.

Based on speculations and leaks, Xiaomi Mi 8 is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and the trending notch display design. It could come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and Android Oreo. The smartphone is also said to offer facial recognition at par with Apple iPhone X's 'Face ID'.

Moto Z3 Play

Last month, Motorola launched its next generation Moto G series phones, Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus. The Lenovo-owned company is hosting an event on June 6 for the launch of a new smartphone. It is highly expected that the Moto Z3 Play will be unveiled at this event. The alleged smartphone has been spotted on several leaks, and reports suggest that it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 processor.

More features expected in Moto Z3 Play include a 6-inch fullHD+ display, 3,000mAh battery, a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors and 'Face Unlock'. Moto Z3 Play will possibly continue with support for Moto Mods as seen on the Moto Z series.

BlackBerry KEY2

BlackBerry posted a teaser on YouTube announcing the launch of its upcoming smartphone, KEY2. The teaser shows a glimpse of the new smartphone which will feature a dual-camera setup at the rear with LED flash. BlackBerry KEY2 will also feature a similar design like its predecessor with a physical QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone has a textured back panel with the power key and volume rocker placed on the right side. BlackBerry also highlights a new key with six dots which could come with new features.

Lenovo Z5

Lenovo has gotten everyone excited with its big claims for the Z5 smartphone. Lenovo Z5 is expected to launch on June 14. The company has been creating hype with each teaser for the smartphone which will come with a bezel-less display possibly without a notch cut-out. The smartphone will offer 4TB onboard storage, and 45 days of standby time. Lenovo has also shared camera samples which show off the smartphone's low light capability. Lenovo Z5 will sport a dual-camera setup with AI capabilities.
