Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Note 5 Pro and Mi TV launched in India.
Xiaomi on Wednesday launched three new devices in India including the successor to Redmi Note 4 and a new smart TV.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 starts at a price of ₹9,999, while the Redmi Note 5 Pro will retail at a starting price of ₹13,999. Xiaomi's Mi LED Smart TV 4 has a price tag of ₹39,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a notable upgrade with its 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 626 processor paired with 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage. The higher model is priced at ₹11,999.
As for Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 Pro, the smartphone's USP is its dual-camera setup at the rear. The setup includes a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors which work together to produce DSLR-like bokeh effect. The smartphone also sports a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor for selfies.
Xiaomi's Mi LED Smart TV 4 priced at ₹39,999 and is claimed to be the "world's thinnest LED TV" with only 4.99m thickness. It has a 55-inch 4K HDR display, and is powered by Amlogic 64-bit quad-core processor. Mi LED Smart TV 4 is powered by PatchWall Design which offers over 500,000 hours of content across 15 Indic languages, universal search option, and more.

11.58AM: We are just a few minutes away from the official launch. The company has already dropped hints about launching the Redmi Note 4 successor.
12.07PM: The event is expected to begin in a few minutes. Let's recap the specifications of the Redmi Note 4. The smartphone is available in 2GB RAM/32GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB/64GB storage versions. All the models are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.
