YouTube is working extensively to add new features to its platform. In the past couple of weeks the company has released a bunch of new features, bedtime reminders and Explore tab to name a few, to its platform. Reports have also detailed some of the features, such as the Mix playlists and Related tab, that are expected to make it to the platform soon. Now, a new report adds on to this momentum by talking about another feature that is in works.

According to a report by Android Police, YouTube is testing a new feature that shows relevant web searches along with videos. This feature was first spotted by a Reddit user who shared a screenshot of the feature on the platform.

The screenshot shows that Google will show a Search result right under the video results when users are looking for specific videos. The company shows a single top result for the searched item in Google Search along with a prompt to open a full search in a separate bar.

The report notes that while some users have already started receiving this feature, it isn’t listed in YouTube’s test features and experiments list yet, which indicates that the company has rolled out this feature to a limited set of users. We will update you as soon as the company shares more details about the feature.
