Amazon unveils autonomous drones to deliver packages at your doorstep

Online shopping giant Amazon has revealed autonomous drones which would soon be delivering packages to customers. The company said that deliveries via drones would begin in 'months', but did not reveal where the service would be available. Amazon's Consumer Worldwide CEO, Jeff Wilke, explained the safety features in the drone which would ensure that there are no mishaps involving humans or other objects. Founder Jeff Bezos had, in 2013, announced the decision to make deliveries via drones, but the deadline was missed due to regulatory hurdles.
