Tech Wrap: India defends tax on US firms; Samsung Fold

India has told the United States that the decision to impose tax on digital services from American tech firms like Google and Amazon are not against any particular nation in question, and will not be reconsidered. This while Amazon India reported that Indian MSMEs fetched over $2 billion in cumulative exports as part of the firm's Global Selling Programme. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 9 was launched for the Indian market, and the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 has been confirmed to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5.
