Acer launches Chromebook Spin 713 and Spin 311 launched: Check price, specs and availability here

Acer, apart from launching a series gaming laptops, monitors and desktops, also launched two convertible notebooks for students. The list includes the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 and Chromebook Spin 311. It has also launched an enterprise version of Chromebook Spin 713 -- the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713 and the Chromebook Spin 311. The newly launched convertible notebooks are a part of the company’s project Athena and they feature military grade durability.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 notebook comes with a 2K 13.5-inch IPS VertiView display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels. It sports an aluminum chassis that has a reinforced design that is US MIL-STD 810G compliant. It also has a Corning Gorilla Glass protected touchscreen and touchpad.

Acer days that the “reinforced design and shock-absorbing bumper can survive drops from heights of up to 122 cm (48 inches) and withstand up to 60 kg (132 pounds) of downward force.”

On the hardware front comes with up to 16 GB DDR4 SDRAM and up to 256 GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage and it fully supports Android apps via Google Play. It has a fast-chargeable battery that offers 10 hours of usage. It has two USB 3.1 Type-C ports, both supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps), DisplayPort over USB-C, and USB charging. It also includes an HDMI port, USB 3.0 and MicroSD card reader. It also has dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (CP713-2W) will be available in North America in July starting at $629.99 ( ₹47,675 approximately); and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 699. The Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713, on the other hand, will be available in North America in August starting at $1099 ( ₹83,177 approximately); and in EMEA in August, starting at EUR 899.

It comes with a 11.6-inch HD touch IPS display with Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a Mediatek MT8183 processor and offers a long battery life of up to 15-hours. It has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity and it supports Android apps via Google Play.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 311 (CP311-3H) will be available in North America in July starting at $259.99 ( ₹19,685 approximately); and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 299.
