The standard iPhone 14 keeps the same design as the iPhone 13 with some minor changes. The iPhone 14 gets the same 6.1-inch OLED display with 1200 nits of brightness and a smaller notch same as the iPhone 13. Under the hood, it packs the Apple A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13 Pro with the extra GPU core – 5 core GPU. There's support for 5G networks and Apple stresses on eSIM technology. You can store multiple eSIMs on the same device.

In the camera section, the iPhone 14 follows the same 12MP primary camera along with the 12MP ultra-wide sensor at the back. The front camera also uses the 12MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture but with an autofocus feature. Apple promises much better low light selfies on the iPhone 14. For videography, it brings the Action Mode for stability. 

For the first time, Apple brings the support for satellite connectivity, called Emergency SOS via satellite. Moreover, the iPhone 14 gets a slightly bigger capacity battery than its previous version. Apple promises an increase in stamina, which should make for longer endurance.
