We have passed the first half of this year with an array of exciting phone launches. Some of the phones like Vivo X80 series, Xiaomi 11i hypercharge and Realme GT Neo 3 impressed us, while some of them didn’t quite meet expectations. Now, smartphone companies are prepping up for some big launches in July. We have a few interesting phones coming our way this month. Smartphone companies Xiaomi, iQOO, Realme, Motorola, and Asus are all set to launch their flagship smartphones this month that are expected to have Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 100W fast charging support. The Xiaomi 12S will be launched on July 4. It will comprise three models – the Xiaomi 12S, the Xiaomi 12S Pro and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The 12S Ultra is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Other models in the line-up- Xiaomi 12S Pro and the Xiaomi 12S, could rely on MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. All three devices are speculated to arrive with 120W fast charging support.
The Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition will be another device powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device will arrive in China this month while its India debut is not revealed yet. The device will feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP triple camera setup, Android 12 and more along with 150W charging capability.
iQOO’s much anticipated expansion to its number series iQOO 10 too will have a July launch. The handset could get two main variants – the iQOO 10 and the iQOO 10 Pro. As per the leaks the Pro variant will come up with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and upto 512GB of onboard storage. The device is likely to get a 200W fast charging support.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 is confirmed to have official launch on July 5 with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processor. The device will arrive as a gaming-oriented high-performance flagship smartphone. The device will offer up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 5,850mAh battery. The ROG Phone 6 is speculated to come with 65W fast charging support, but given the battery size and the platform capability, a higher charging speed can be expected.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra flagship smartphone was recently spotted on the 3C certification website and hence we expect it to debut sometime in July in China. Like the above mentioned handsets, this too is expected to be fuelled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 125W fast charging support.
