The Lava Agni 5G is Lava's return to the competitive midrange smartphone space and it wants to pull out all the stops to grab the consumers' attention. The company has announced the Lava Agni Mitra service that claims to offer priority aftersales service to Agni customers free of charge. The service is similar to what Samsung offers for its foldables.
As part of the Lava Agni Mitra service, customers will be get a dedicated service manager for troubleshooting issues. If the problem requires the phone to be collected, Lava will arrange for a doorstep pickup and delivery service. Lava says the service will be seek no additional charge from the customers.
The Lava Agni 5G customers will also get priority treatment at Lava service centers. “If the customer decides to visit one of Lava’s 800+ service centers, AGNI 5G phone customers will be given priority at service centers. For the convenience of AGNI customers, Lava will offer a zero-wait time for customer care calls and provide an instant response against any query regarding the device. Personalized feedback will also be offered after resolution,” says Lava.
For a smartphone costing ₹19,999, a dedicated aftersales service has been is rare. The Lava Agni 5G is the company's first 5G smartphone offering, utilizing MediaTek's newest Dimensity 810 chipset. The phone also features a 6.7-inch 1080p 90Hz refresh rate IPS LCD display, a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W fast wired charging, and Android 11 out of the box.
The phone features a quad rear camera setup, comprising of a 64MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera. The phone comes in only a single variant with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. The phone is available on Flipkart, Amazon, and Lava e-store.
