Mi 11: New leak reveals battery capacity, other details

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new flagship series, Mi 11, early next year. The company has already confirmed the smartphones will come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 processor. Other details of Mi 11 have come through a spate of leaks and rumours. Now, Mi 11 phones have been spotted on 3C certification, revealing battery capacity, and charging speed.

According to the 3C listing (via GSMArena/Playfuldroid), Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 will come with 4,970mAh and 4,780mAh capacities. The phones are also said to come with 55W fast charging.

Separately, case renders of the upcoming Mi 11 series have appeared online. If the renders are believed, Mi 11 will feature a square camera module that will house three camera sensors. The Pro model of the phone will have four camera sensors stacked in a rectangular-shaped module.

According to older rumours and leaks, Mi 11 Pro will come with 2K display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also house a punch-hole cutout on the front to house the selfie camera. Mi 11 is said to come with 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The phone may offer improved image stabilisation. One of the models in Mi 11 is said to sport a 108-megapixel camera.

As said earlier, Mi 11 series will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The Xiaomi Mi 11 is touted to be a “cutting-edge” product.

“I’m very happy to tell you that the next-generation Xiaomi premium 5G smartphone powered by Snapdragon 888 will be launched very soon. This is a cutting-edge product full of numerous top-notch features,” Xiaomi co-founder and CEO Lei Jun said at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2020.
