Moto G30 with Snapdragon 662, Android 11 is coming soon

Motorola is reportedly working on a new handset, dubbed as G30. Even as there is no word on its official release yet, the smartphone has bagged certification from Thailand’s NBTC. The listing confirms the name “Moto G30”.

According to GSMArena, Motorola G30 was earlier spotted on Geekbench benchmarking website with codename “Motorola Capri Plus” and “XT2129” model number.

The latest certification does not reveal anything beyond the name. But the older Geekbench listing revealed that the phone has 4GB of RAM, Android 11, and Snapdragon 662 processor.

According to older leaks, the smartphone will come with a 90Hz display with HD+ resolution. The phone will also have up to 128GB built-in storage, a 64-megapixel camera coupled with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors.

As of now, details are sketchy, but we’re likely to find out more about the phone in the coming days.

The latest leak comes shortly after details about Motorola Nio leaked online. The upcoming phone is seen with four rear cameras. One of the cameras is said to have a 64-megapixel primary sensor. It will reportedly Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor, and come in two memory variants of 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Leaked images reveal dual-punch hole cameras and dual-SIM support. According to rumours, the phone will launch as Motorola Edge S.
