Moto G50 5G smartphone launched, check specs, price

Motorola launched the Moto G50 smartphone along with the Moto G100 in European markets. Moto G50 is the company’s latest affordable 5G smartphone. It also comes with triple rear cameras, 90Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery.

Moto G50 is priced at 249.99 euros for the base model, and it will be available in the coming weeks in select European markets. The smartphone has two colour options of Aqua Green and Steel Gray. It features a notched display and has a polycarbonate rear panel.

In terms of specs, Moto G50 features a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes with two storage options of 64GB and 128GB. There’s also a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.

On the Moto G50 you get a triple rear camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 13-megapixel camera up front for selfies. Some of the camera features on the Moto G50 include HDR, pro mode, portrait mode, timelapse, and hyperlapse video.

Moto G50 also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The phone ships with a 10W charger. The smartphone comes with a rear fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well. Its connectivity options include 5G, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and 4G LTE. On the software front, Moto G50 runs Android 11 out-of-the-box.
