Apple recently launched the latest iPhone 13 with much fanfare, but the company's co-founder Steve Wozniak isn't impressed with its features. Talking about the latest generation of iPhones, he stated bluntly that he ‘can’t find the difference’ between iPhone 13 and the previous iPhone, which is the iPhone 12.

Steve Wozniak said that "The software that's in it applies to older iPhones, I presume and that's the good part," Business Insider quoted him as saying.

Wozniak co-founded Apple Computer in 1976 along with its iconic CEO Steve Jobs, but he never hesitated to criticise the company's products or business practices, as is clear from this recent quip.

Nevertheless, the iPhone 13 did come in for some praise regarding its longer battery life, a better camera, and a stronger glass in comparison to the iPhone 12.

This is not the first time that Wozniak has panned an iPhone. Earlier, in 2017, he said that he wouldn't buy the iPhone X over his apprehensions regarding its facial-recognition software.

However, there were some iPhones that 'Woz', as he is also known by, was happy with. The iPhone that came in for praise was the iPhone 8. This iPhone closely resembles the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6.

When Apple CEO Tim Cook sent him the iPhone X, Wozniak famously lambasted it for its lack of intuitiveness and instead cited various other Apple products for their uniqueness and user-friendliness like the Lisa computer.

Despite his criticisms of Apple products, there are some that Wozniak has been much impressed by. In 2019, he mentioned that the Apple Watch was one of his favourite pieces of technology at that time. The reason would have been kind of bittersweet for Apple staffers. Reason being that Wozniak praised the Apple Watch for its ability to cut down people's dependence on smartphones.

Meanwhile, Steve Jobs was in the news recently due to a note by Robert W Baird & Co. Inc. analyst Colin Sebastian on his view about Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg changing the name of the company to Meta. Sebastian viewed Zuckerberg’s presentation as lackluster compared to another famous tech demo. “In 2007, Steve Jobs actually presented an iPhone.”

Sebastian added. “We'll have to wait longer for the metaverse.”
