As part of the update, the camera gets the most improvements. Nothing says that the camera improvements include the ability to use the Glyph lights as a fill light while using Portrait Mode. The camera will also see improved noise reduction and dynamic range in lower light conditions, improved clarity with the ultrawide camera, and consistent colors between the main and ultra-wide cameras.

Nothing Phone (1) will also get a new Tesla control feature, the ability to display your NFTs as widgets on the homescreen, and also the ability to remove the Google Search bar from the homescreen.

Other notable improvements listed here include optimisations to the standby battery drain, improved Face Unlock, and improved reliability of the Glitch interface. Nothing has also updated the phone to the July Security Patch 2022.

With all these updates, the user experience should get better on the Phone (1). However, it is advisable to avoid the early batches of the Phone (1) owing to numerous quality control issues on the manufacturing front, as pointed out by several reports.
