Redmi Note 10 Pro spotted on BIS, India launch imminent

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 10 Pro in India soon as the smartphone has received BIS certification. This comes shortly after the specifications of the Redmi Note 10 Pro were leaked.

Redmi Note 10 Pro with the model number M2101K6I was spotted on the BIS certification site by tipster Mukul Sharma. This is believed to be the Indian variant of the smartphone. Earlier this week, Redmi Note 10 Pro was spotted on the FCC website hinting at its imminent launch. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 series in March last year. A similar launch timeline may be followed for the Redmi Note 10 series as well.

When it comes to its specifications, Redmi Note 10 Pro is expected to come with a 120Hz display, and run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G under its hood. Redmi Note 10 Pro is also rumoured to pack a 5,050mAh battery and run MIUI 12 out-of-the-box. It could feature a 64-megapixel primary camera, and offer up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The global variant of Redmi Note 10 Pro is said to come with NFC support but the Indian variant will not have this feature. Xiaomi is expected to launch more smartphones from the Redmi Note 10 series including one with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and one 5G model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset.

Xiaomi is yet to tease or announce the launch of its new Redmi Note 10 series. It just launched the Mi 10i in India, and it’s also reportedly working on a Mi 11 Lite.
