Redmi Note 11 Pro price leak: You will be both happy and sad, know why

The Redmi Note 11 Pro series is coming to India within a few days and so far, Redmi has confirmed bringing both the 4G and 5G models under different names. The standard Redmi Note 11 Pro will be known by the same name, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will be known as the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G. Redmi has been teasing all the features on its social media platforms and even shown off the design. The only bit left is the pricing and thanks to a new bunch of leaks, we now what both the Pro variants will cost in India.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro series is going to see a price bump from the Redmi Note 10 Pro series but in a different way. Based on a report from PassionateGeekz, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is apparently going to carry a very similar price to the launch price of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, i.e., Rs. 16,999. This is surprising given that Xiaomi already sells the Redmi Note 11S with a similar starting price. Hence, take this information with a pinch of salt.

Redmi Note 11 Pro series price leaks

The leak suggests that for Rs. 16,999, you will get the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The other variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will set you back by Rs. 18,999. We expect Xiaomi to sell these phones with a slightly higher price.

On the other hand, the 5G variant is going to see a very high price, which could make it the most expensive Redmi Note device the company has ever sold in India. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G is expected to start at Rs. 21,999 for the base version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost Rs. 23,999.

With these prices, the Redmi Note 11 Pro series reaches almost the Xiaomi 11i range, which is currently the entry into “Mi-branded” phones. The Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S have been pricey for what they offer; especially the latter that comes with an underpowered chipset.

In fact, the 4G Redmi Note 11 Pro is essentially an evolved version of the Redmi Note 11S, using the same MediaTek Helio G96 chipset and the 108MP main rear camera. With the Pro, you get a faster 67W charging solution and a larger 120Hz AMOLED display. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 chip, which again at its rumoured price could be a pricey affair.
