Samsung is sprinkling good news for its Galaxy users! It has only been a few weeks since Samsung started rolling out the Android 13 update for the Galaxy S22 series and already, a lot of the other Galaxy devices have started getting the update. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are the latest flagship phones in Samsung’s arsenal to get the Android 13 update, complete with all the goodies as well as the foldable bits.
The One UI 5 update is now rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices. As part of the update, these phones will get all the new interface design, and will get the underlying Android 13 framework. The update also brings the November security patch and a couple of other improvements to these phones. The update is rolling out in a phased manner to users across the world.
As of the moment, the One UI 5 update based on Android 13 has already arrived on our Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 units. The standard One UI 5 changes are visible all across the interface, and the phones also get a bunch of new wallpapers. Similar to the Focus Modes on iOS 16, One UI 5 also brings Modes that alter device settings based on requirements.
If you haven’t got the update yet, head over to the Software Update option in the Settings app and check for the latest update. If your device is included in the batch, you will see the option to download the One UI 5 update for your device. Click on download and before you begin it, note that you need to connect your device to a fast Wi-Fi network. After a restart, the devices will boot into One UI 5 based on Android 13.
Other than these foldable devices, Samsung is also releasing the One UI 5 update for the Galaxy A52 – Samsung’s most popular midrange Android phone from last year. Samsung isn’t sparing some of its affordable Galaxy A series devices with regards to the Android 13 update. A couple of other affordable Galaxy A series devices have also got the Android 13 update.
