Samsung Galaxy F62 could get a 5G variant soon

Samsung launched the Galaxy F62 in India earlier this year. It is now expected to launch a 5G version of the smartphone. Galaxy F62 5G has been spotted on the certification site, TENAA after having appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certification sites. Samsung is yet to confirm if there are plans of launching the Galaxy F62 5G.

According to the TENAA listing first spotted by My Smart Price, Galaxy F62 5G will feature a 4,350mAh battery. The smartphone will also run Android 11 out-of-the-box, and it will have support for dual SIM. Galaxy F62 5G is also expected to come with support for 25W fast charging, and Bluetooth 5.1. There isn’t anything else revealed about the smartphone yet.

Samsung’s Galaxy F series is exclusive to India and it has been developed in partnership with e-commerce platform, Flipkart. It has so far launched four Galaxy F phones with Galaxy F12 being the most recent one. The upcoming Galaxy F62 5G will be an upgraded version of the Galaxy F62 but the battery capacity revealed is far lower than what the 4G variant offers.

Galaxy F62 comes with a massive 7,000mAh battery along with support for 25W fast charging. It is also powered by the Exynos 9825 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with an Infinity-O cutout.

In the photography department, Samsung Galaxy F62 comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-lens (123-degree), 5-megapixel macro lens, and 5-megapixel depth lens. The rear camera also supports 4K UHD video recording. On the front, Samsung Galaxy F62 comes with a 32-megapixel sensor.
