Samsung has reduced the price of Galaxy S20+ BTS edition by ₹10,000. Samsung launched the Galaxy S20+ BTS edition in India earlier this year in July. Galaxy Buds+ BTS edition that launched alongside the smartphone hasn’t received a price cut.
Samsung Galaxy S20+ BTS edition now costs ₹77,999 after the price cut. The smartphone launched at ₹87,999, and it comes in only one 128GB storage option. The new price is visible on Samsung’s website but it’s not confirmed if this is a permanent price cut or a temporary one. There are no cost EMI options, and 10% cashback on the Galaxy S20+ BTS edition.
The BTS edition actually costs a lot more than the regular S20+ models which cost ₹49,999 for the 128GB variant. Other than the BTS branding and purple colour, specs are the same on this Galaxy S20+. The K-Pop group’s logo and heart iconography are embellished at the rear of the phone. It also comes with preloaded BTS themes and a fan community called ‘Weverse’.
In terms of specs, Galaxy S20+ BTS edition features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Quad HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a quad-camera setup with a combination of two 12-megapixel, 64-megapixel and VGA cameras. The smartphone has a 10-megapixel selfie camera. Galaxy S20+ packs 8GB of RAM and supports expandable storage up to 1TB.
The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 990 chipset. On the software front, it runs Android 10 with One UI on top. The Galaxy S20+ BTS edition has a 4,500mAh battery with a Type-C port. It also supports wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
