The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is going to be launched as the Mi 10i in India

The Indian variant of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite comes with the ‘tocoin’ code name. The smartphone was launched in Europe in late April and is finally headed to India.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is expected to launch in India at the Mi 10i. The Mi Note 10 Lite was launched in the European markets in April this year and was essentially a watered-down version of the Mi Note 10. The Mi Note 10 Lite is the third phone in the series after Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro.

The Mi Note 10 Lite came with a 3D curved AMOLED display and the Snapdragon 730G SoC under the hood. The smartphone also comes with a 30W fast charging support and quad cameras on the back.

A tipster on Twitter who goes by the name of the_tech_guy posted a screenshot that shows the code that indicates that the Indian version of the Mi Note 10 Lite will be launched as the Mi 10i here. The post also hints that the codename for the smartphone is “tocoin”.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 5G was launched in India with prices starting from 49,999 in May this year. This time around Xiaomi has not revealed any details about the Mi Note 10 Lite launch as yet.

With no details from the company, one can only speculate about the what the prices of the smartphone might be when it launches in India. The Mi Note 10 Lite was launched in Europe for 349 euros, that’s approximately 30,800 for the 6GB/64GB variant. The 6GB/128GB model was launched at 399 euros which is 35,200 approx.

The prices in India might be around that or possibly lesser.

The Mi Note 10 Lite was launched in three colours - Midnight Black, Nebula Purple and Glacier White.

As far as specs go, the dual-SIM Mi Note 10 lite runs on Android 10 with the MIUI 11 on top. It comes with a 6.47-inch full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The quad camera set-up on the back features a 64MP primary shooter, a 8MP secondary sensor and an ultra-wide angle lens and one more sensor. On the front there is a 16MP camera for selfies.

There is the quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor along with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The Mi Note 10 Lite also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. The Mi Note 10 Lite also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, the much loved IR blaster, a 5,260mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging and the Snapdragon 730 G under the hood.
