Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra received certification in Indonesia, suggests a launch soon

Although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the existence of its Mi 11 Ultra smartphone, the number of leaks and speculations around the device seems to make us believe that the handset will launch soon. The smartphone has been rumoured and leaked a couple of times in the past few weeks. However, this time, the handset seems to have appeared in a certification.

As reported by Pricebaba, Mi 11 Ultra has received its certification in Indonesia with model number ‘M2102K1G’. The model is also similar in looks as the one that is seen in a hands on video that emerged last month, thus giving some weight to the speculations.

It's worth mentioning that the alphabet ‘G’ in the codename depicts that the particular model is a global version. This also means that the device won't be limited to China.

Although the certification does not give away any other details about the Mi 11 Ultra, it does suggest that the device, which was seen in the hands on video is the same. And this means that the smartphone could feature a 6.8-inch curved OLED display with WQHD+ resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate as mentioned before in the video.

It may also feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which is the same that is used in flagship Mi 11. It has been also rumoured that the upcoming device may support 67watt fast wireless and wired charging along with 10W reverse charging.

The device is rumoured to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. And just like the Mi 11, the ‘Ultra’ variant could also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

According to a tipster, it was recently suggested that the upcoming Mi 11 Ultra may have a 50-megapixel primary camera at the back. It might come along with a 48-megapixel wide angle shooter and a 48-megapixel sensor for a periscopic photo lens.

Xiaomi has not yet revealed anything about the device, nor has it started teasing it anywhere on social media.
