Xiaomi will soon launch a new variant of its Redmi 9 Power with better RAM and storage combination, reports 91Mobiles report.
According to the report, the new version will come with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. The model will be priced at ₹12,999. As of now, there is no word on the launch date of the new variant.
Xiaomi’s new model will join the current 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB models, which are available for ₹10,999 and ₹11,999, respectively.
Redmi 9 Power
Xiaomi had launched Redmi 9 Power in India in December last year. The smartphone is said to be the repackaged version of the Redmi Note 9 4G that launched in China earlier. The smartphone is available in India in black, blue, red, and green colour options.
Redmi 9 Power comes with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It also features a microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 512GB.

The phone has a quad-camera setup. It features a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone. It also comes with 18W charging support. The smartphone ships with a 22.5W charger. On the software front, Redmi 9 Power has MIUI 12. In terms of connectivity, Redmi 9 Power supports a dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also has an IR blaster.
