According to a report by The Verge, the social media platform has partnered with popular TikTok stars to create the newly launched lenses. These are TikTok stars are Jalaiah Harmon, who has created the lens called Star Burst, Sarati, who has created the lens called Be You, Loren Gray, who has created the lens called Alone and Dixie D’Amelio, who has created the lens called Be Happy.

These new lenses, as per the report, track a total of 18 joints across the body and hence create a motion effect when used.

While the lens created with Harmon shows psychedelic colours around an individual, the one created with Sarati shows ‘Be You’ caption all-around a user’s body. Similarly, the lens created with Gray shows geometric shapes while the lens created with D’Amelio shows cartoon lightning bolts and fireworks.

The report further says that, at the moment, only two lenses come with videos. Users will have to play music from a different app and record the video using Snapchat while using the lenses that don’t have music yet. The good news is that Snapchat is planning to allow English-speaking users to record videos using these lenses with music starting this fall.
