If you are a Samsung smartphone user or even an accessories user, you must be aware about the company’s Galaxy Wearable app, which over the years, has become the hub for all Galaxy accessories that the firm has been launching. This also means that whenever a new accessory comes out, the South Korean tech giant adds the support for it on its Wearable app. But this might not have worked well for Samsung this time as the APK teardown of the app reveals hints at the launch of a new Galaxy Buds model.

In the teardown of the most recent Galaxy Wearable APK, Android Police found references to Galaxy Buds2. The codename for this is said to be ‘berry’ and the teardown also indicated that these will be able to connect to multiple devices. Nothing else was revealed about the rumoured products.

Just to be clear, the report mentioned that these are not an alternate name for some existingGalaxy Buds-series and indicate a completely new set of earbuds. Assumptions are that these will likely replace the 2019 and 2020 Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Plus. It is not for sure if these denote the next-gen version of Galaxy Buds Live.

Talking about Galaxy Buds Plus, the wearable device got Auto Switch feature for compatible Samsung handsets as a part of a firmware update. Users may recall that during the Galaxy S21 series and Galaxy Buds Pro launch, the company had shown off the new auto-switching capabilities of the Buds Pro, which allowed them to seamlessly switch between two Samsung devices based on which one was being used by the wearer. This allows users to watch a video on their Samsung tablet and then have the buds quickly switch to their Samsung smartphone when they receive a call.
