Mi Watch Lite expected to launch in India soon

Xiaomi globally launched Mi Watch Lite last month, and it looks like the smartwatch is heading to India soon. Mi Watch Lite is the global version of Redmi Watch that’s available in China.

Xiaomi did list Mi Watch Lite on its global website but it hasn’t revealed the smartwatch’s price and availability details. In China, Redmi Watch is priced at CNY 299 ( ₹3,400 approx). Tipster Mukul Sharma has now spotted Mi Watch Lite on India’s BIS certification website hinting at its imminent launch.

Mi Watch Lite comes in five colour options of pink, ivory, black, navy blue and olive. It has a square dial which is a 1.4-inch LCD display with 320 x320 pixels resolution. The smartwatch packs a 230mAh battery claimed to last for nine days on typical usage, and 10 hours with continuous GPS mode. Mi Watch Lite takes around two hours to fully charge.

Mi Watch Lite comes with support for 11 sports modes including outdoor running, cycling, trail run, swimming, and cricket. Its health features include heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and breathing exercises. The smartwatch also shows a daily record of calories burned, step count, and number of times you’ve stood up. It also has a 5 ATM rating for water resistance.

The smartwatch also features notifications, weather, clock, alarm, and music control. Mi Watch Lite offers over 120 watch faces and emojis. More features on the smartwatch include find phone, flashlight, timer, and stopwatch.

Xiaomi is yet to announce the launch of Mi Watch Lite in India.
