Samsung on Thursday launched its first step challenge for Samsung Members in the country in the form of the Galaxy India Explorathon, a fitness challenge that starts tomorrow and ends after a month, with prizes for winners after the event is concluded.

Samsung has focused on five ‘milestone’ cities for this event - Delhi, Jaisalmer, Kochi, Lucknow, and Srinagar. Users who want to participate in the event will have to follow a digital map that covers these cities, the company says, while adding that users will need to record over 1.75 lakh steps in order to complete the challenge.

These changes were added in the form of the ‘Group Challenge’ feature in the ‘Together’ section of the app, which allows users to track their friends and keep an eye on their goal and targets reached.
