It wouldn’t seem very surprising if Samsung actually decides to end compatibility of older wearables with the new Galaxy S21 series. Most of the wearables listed are quite old like the Galaxy Gear 2 which launched back in 2014. So if you have one of these wearables and are planning to buy the Galaxy S21 you might want to consider a newer smartwatch as well.

The Galaxy S21 series is expected to launch a month earlier this time, more specifically on January 14. Samsung’s flagship series will feature the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The new Galaxy S21 smartphones are expected to feature a design similar to the Galaxy Note 20 series with a thick camera bump. Other than the usual spec upgrades, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is rumoured to launch with S Pen support signalling the end of the Note series.
