In a Twitter post yesterday, Xiaomi teased the launch of its upcoming smartwatch in India. The Xiaomi smartwatch is going to be launched alongside the Mi Band 5 at the Smarter Living event that Xiaomi has scheduled for September 29. Besides these two wearables, Xiaomi is also going to announce a bunch of other IoT products at the event.
After sharing a creative for the Smarter Living event that teased all the new devices coming in, Xiaomi posted about the arrival of the Mi Watch Revolve. However, going by the tweet, the smartwatch might be named Mi Watch SE since Xiaomi wrote - “Wait till you SEe Mi”.
This smartwatch is going to be Xiaomi’s first offering in this space and is going to go head-to-head with the Realme Watch.
Mi Watch Revolve or Mi Watch SE, whatever Xiaomi decides to call it is in all likelihood the rebranded Mi Watch Color that was launched in China recently. The smartwatch is going to come with a circular dial, corroborated by the picture of the eye tweeted by the brand as the teaser, and a 1.39-inch AMOLED display as-is on the Mi Watch Color.
The Mi Watch Color also comes with a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and a 420mAh battery. It has a water resistance of 5 ATM.
The Mi Watch Color was launched in China for RMB 599, according to reports, which is ₹6,400 approx. The India prices should be around that.
Xiaomi is also launching the Mi Band 5 which is going to come with a 1.1-inch touch AMOLED display, 14-day battery life, heart rate tracker and 11 sports modes. It is also water resistant up to 50 meters. The Mi Band 5 was launched in China for RMB 189, which is approximately ₹2,000.
