Xiaomi to launch two audio products in India today

Xiaomi is launching two audio products today in India at its ‘Mi Sound Unveil’ event. The company has been teasing its upcoming audio products which could be a new pair of Bluetooth earphones, and a portable speaker.

Xiaomi’s Mi Sound Unveil event is scheduled to take place later today at 12 noon. The event will be live streamed on Xiaomi India’s YouTube channel and social pages. Xiaomi is expected to launch Mi Neckband Pro Bluetooth Earphones and Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker today. This information was shared by tipster Ishan Agarwal.

The Mi Neckband Pro Bluetooth Earphones are said to come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 25db. It will be equipped with a 10mm bass driver, and offer up to 20 hours of battery life. The Bluetooth earphones are also said to have IPX5 rating for water resistance.

As for the Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker, this one will have 16W of audio output, dual EQ and a built-in microphone for voice assistant support. It’s not clear which voice assistant the speaker will support. More expected details on the Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker include USB Type-C charging, and IPX7 rating. Agarwal also tweeted images of the Bluetooth speaker in black and blue colours.

This could be the same Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker that has already made its debut. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0, up to 13 hours of music playback with a 2,600mAh battery. Rest of the leaked specs are the same as the Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker so it’s most likely the same product.
