There is a solid gold PlayStation 5 Golden Rock Edition is made 18-carat gold and crocodile leather
Made with at least 20kgs of solid gold, gold inserts on the DualSense controller and crocodile leather - the PlayStation 5 Golden Rock Edition is ultimate luxury.
It's been established that Caviar is known for the absolutely ridiculous gadgets and cases out of gold and silver and other exquisite materials. We just told you about the $108,000 Apple AirPods Max and about the Samsung S21 Ultra in gold, and now the company has unveiled a solid gold PlayStation 5.
Caviar's Sony PlayStation 5 Golden Rock Edition is covered in 18-carat gold and not just the console, but the DualSense controller of this special edition also has 750 gold inserts on it along with crocodile leather for “real tactile pleasure”.
The PS5 on the Caviar site has a 3D design on the console making the whole device look bulky. According to the company description, the PlayStation 5 Golden Rock Edition was assembled from eight sheets cast in solid gold and about 20kgs of gold were used to make it.
“The case of this exclusive gadget is made in the original jewelry technique, which adds volume and texture to the model. The inspiration for the designers was the unique geometry of the gold ore and the graceful, beautiful outlines of the rock. That is why the console was named Golden Rock,” Caviar explains.

“Caviar Sony PlayStation 5 Golden Rock is a special dimension of design, a mixture of rationality and brightness, pure fine lines and deliberate luxury,” the company added and mentioned that there is going to be a single piece released worldwide.
Caviar has not mentioned the price of this PlayStation 5 Golden Rock Edition and you can “request” for it on the site, however, knowing the kind of pricing Caviar is known for, you can well expect this device to push you over the hill by at least $1 million.
There is also an option on the site for you to design your own and you have to essentially make an application and what for the company to reach out to you.
We don't know about you, but we are far too broke for this.
