YouTube is one of the most popular video streaming platforms across the world. It is not only used for entertainment purposes but it is also a great platform for making money. You can earn money by uploading content, videos and becoming a YouTuber. Uploading videos on YouTube is pretty easy and simple. You can upload videos on YouTube by using any device. To upload a video on YouTube, you'll have to first create a YouTube channel. Here is a step by step guide on how to create a Youtube channel account and upload video on it.
How to create a YouTube account and upload video
Step 1: Open YouTube app on your phone or go to YouTube website on your laptop and sign into the app by using your Google account.
Step 2: Click on your profile picture icon in the menu that pops up and click on “Create a channel.”
Step 3: You will see a dialogue box where you will need to confirm the details i.e, Channel name and photo.
Step 4: Check the details, and tap on the “Create channel” button. Your YouTube channel is now ready and you can start uploading videos.
How to upload video on YouTube
Log into YouTube creator studio on studio.youtube.com.
Tap the “Create” icon available at the top-right corner of the screen and select the “Upload Videos” option.
Drop and drag the file you want to upload or hit the “Select files” button.
Now, select the file that you want to upload and it will start uploading in the background.
Now enter the title, description and thumbnails for the video in the dialogue box.
Add subtitles, an end screen and “cards” and proceed further.
Select whether the video should be “Private”, “Unlisted” or “Public”. On selecting Private only you and the people you choose can view the video whereas Unlisted the only way videos can be watched only by clicking on a direct link to it. If you select Public, then your video will appear like any other public YouTube.
Once done, hit save and your video will be uploaded on YouTube.
