Asus on Wednesday announced that the Black colour variant of its newly launched ROG Phone 5 is now available for purchase in India. The phone is available for purchase in India exclusively via Flipkart.

While the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the phone in Black is available for 57,999, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is available for 49,999.

Interestingly, the development comes a day after the company announced the availability of the White colour variant of the ROG Phone 5 in India. The 8GB+128GB variant of the phone in white costs 49,999. Like the Black colour variant, the White colour variant of the ROG Phone 5 too is available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Asus ROG Phone 5 comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor that is coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. On the camera front, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera with Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 24MP camera for selfies.

Coming to the battery, the phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for up to 65W fast charging technology. It runs Android 11 with ROG UI layered on top.
