Samsung is all set to hold the Galaxy Unpacked 2 event later today where it is going to launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2. The foldable smartphone was unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event that took place earlier in August, alongside the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Buds Live. 

Today's event should be a deep-dive into the Galaxy Z Fold 2 along with details on specs, prices and availability.

Where to watch it? When to watch it?

First, when. The Galaxy Unpacked 2 is scheduled to start at 10:00AM (ET) which is 7:30 PM IST.

Now, where. The event is going to be hosted via a live-stream and you can watch it on Samsung's YouTube channel - just click here. You can also stream the broadcast on Samsung's global website and news.samsung.com.

Like we've already said, Samsung announced the Galaxy Z Fold2 last month at the first Galaxy Unpacked event so we know the basic specs of the upcoming foldable. All we need to know now is the price and availability details. And that's expected to drop in today. Samsung is also going to explore in details the "groundbreaking features of the Galaxy Z Fold2”.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2's price in the UK has already been revealed. In the UK, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is priced at 1,799 pounds ( ₹1,66,000 approx) and is up for pre-orders. It will ship starting September 17 and will be available in stores from September 18 onwards.

Galaxy Z Fold2 will also start selling in India soon but its availability details aren't out yet. We expect to learn more about the India details once the event wraps up today.

Here's what we know so far

The Galaxy Z Fold2 features a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED cover display. The exterior display is a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood there is the Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy Z Fold2 sports a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It also has dual 10MP cameras for selfies and a total battery capacity of 4,500mAh.
