Honor Magic 3 mobile phone image leaked just ahead of launch; 100X digital zoom camera revealed
After Samsung foldable phones, Google Pixel 5a, Realme GT Flash, the latest company to be hit by a leak is Honor. The Chinese company was about to launch the Honor Magic 3 mobile phone.
In a season of leaks, Honor is the latest to suffer from one. Others that have received setbacks recently include the upcoming Samsung foldable phones, Google Pixel 5a, Realme GT Flash and many more. This comes even as Honor is set to host a special event on August 12 during which the company will be launching its new Magic 3 series smartphones. Now, just two days ahead of the launch, an image of the upcoming Honor Magic 3 mobile has leaked online. This image gives us a glimpse of how the upcoming Magic 3 smartphone would look like.
The image that was leaked on Weibo (via Sparrow News) hints that the upcoming Honor Magic 3 smartphone is likely to come in a White colour variant with a gigantic Black colour circular rear camera. This rear camera setup is placed in the middle of the back and it covers almost all of the top part. The top of the camera has '100x' written on it, which may well indicate that the Honor Magic 3 smartphone will offer 100X digital zoom along with a periscope lens to the user.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time that we have heard about the Honor Magic 3 smartphone. Reports in the past have detailed that the upcoming Honor Magic 3 series will come with three models, which include the Honor Magic 3, the Honor Magic 3 Pro and the Honor Magic 3 Porsche edition smartphones. They will sport a dual punch-hole display in the front and come with a double-curved screen with 3D structured light coating.
In addition to that, reports have detailed that the Honor Magic 3 series smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 Plus system-on-chip and run on Magic UI 3.0. This setup is expected to be coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space. It is tipped to come with a quad-rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP+64MP+64MP+64MP camera setup. Additionally, reports have hinted towards the phone sporting a 120Hz display with a 66W charger. All said and done, Honor hasn't confirmed any of the details yet and so we will have to wait until the launch event on August 12 to know all the details.
