Infinix Note 8 is coming soon as key details revealed in US FCC listing

Infinix Note 8 will offer better camera and performance specs than the recently launched Note 7. Here is what we know about the upcoming budget smartphone so far.

Infinix is gearing up to launch a new budget smartphone. Called Infinix Note 8, key details of the upcoming phone have leaked online.

According to the US FCC listing, spotted by Mysmartprice, Infinix Note 8 sports model number X692. The phone will run a 5,100mAh battery with up to 18W fast charging support. The listing reveals the smartphone houses a quad-rear camera setup with 64-megapixel primary sensor. It is said to measure 175mm x 79mm x 9mm.

The US FCC listing further reveals Infinix Note 8 has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

Based on the leaks so far, Infinix Note 8 will be a superior version of the Note 7. The upcoming phone offers better camera and performance specifications.

Interestingly, Infinix recently launched Note 7 in India. Available for 11,499, the phone comes with a 6.59-inch display with a pin-hole cut-out on the front.

It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB DDR4 RAM. On the software front, it runs on Android 10 XOS 6.1 Dolphin OS. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.

The smartphone also has a quad-rear camera but with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture. The setup also features a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is a 16-megapixel AI in-display selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Other important features of Note 7 include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, DTS Surround sound, and face unlock.
