iPhone 12 rival, Samsung Galaxy S21 goes up for pre-registration ahead of launch
Interested buyers will get $60 credit that can be used for purchasing various accessories on Samsung's platform.
Samsung is tipped to launch its next-generation Galaxy S21 series smartphones in January 2021. Ahead of the official launch, the upcoming smartphone series is up for pre-orders in the Samsung Shop app.
As per a report by Sam Mobile, interested customers can register for pre-order notification in the Samsung Shop app. They can also register for pre-ordering the phone. To do so, they will have to click on the ‘Reserve Now’ button on the banner image, fill in all the details and accept the company’s terms and conditions.
The company is also giving some extra benefits to people who register for pre-ordering the device. For instance, people will get $60 credit that can be used for purchasing various accessories on the platform. The company is also offering $10 in extra credit to the customers who pre-order any of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones via the company’s app. Additionally, it is also allowing users to trade-in their existing smartphones for up to $700, depending on the smartphone that they have and its condition.
But there is a catch. This facility is available only for users in the US.
Separately, a new report has detailed all the key specifications of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is tipped to get a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, the Galaxy S21+ is expected to get a 6.7-inch display. Both the models will get full HD+ panels with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. The series is expected to be powered by the new Exynos 2100 SoC that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB built-in storage. While the Galaxy S21 series will come with a 4,000mAh battery, the Galaxy S21+ will offer a 4,800mAh battery.
