Based on various leaks and rumors from tipsters like Ming-Chi Kuo, Ross Young, Mark Gurman and others we have a comprehensive list of what is expected to change and what is likely to stay the same in the base-model of iPhone 14. First, on the things that will not see an upgrade, the display quality is likely to remain the same with an OLED Super Retina XDR display. The appearance will also be the same as the notch is expected to make an appearance in the non-Pro models whereas the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will get the dual hole and pill cutouts. The iPhone 14 is also likely to keep its FaceID working as usual and no major changes are expected in it.

The iPhone 14 has also been rumored to carry the Apple A15 Bionic chipset, although if it does happen, it is likely that there will be some performance improvements in it. The cameras can also get a minor upgrade with an improved aperture size of f/1.8 for the ultra-wide lens instead of f/2.4. The front facing camera can also get autofocus. The Wi-Fi connectivity of the iPhone 14 can also get a boost with an upgrade to Wi-Fi 6E.

Apart from that, some recent leaks suggest that the iPhone 14 can have satellite based emergency features to allow users to send text messages even without a mobile network.
