IQoo 7 with Snapdragon 888 to be priced under ₹40,000, confirms company

Over the past couple of months, we have been hearing some tidbits about Chinese smartphone brand (former sub-brand of Vivo) called iQoo. The firm launched its iQoo 3 5G in India last year in February with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC at ₹37,999. And now, details on the iQoo 7 is showing up on the web. The latest report adds to the rumours and speculations, by stating that the upcoming device might cost under ₹40,000 in India. The confirmation comes directly from the iQoo India's official account.
In the tweet, the company shows an image confirming the smartphone to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, along with the price ₹3x990. The name of the handset, however, was not revealed. The firm has not yet confirmed the launch date in the country, it did mention ‘Unleashing Soon', indicating that users might not have to wait for long. In the tweet, IQoo India also stresses on the ‘Bang For The Buck' factor as well.

While the firm has teased the price of the product to a great extent, it has already launched the product in India, so specifications are not a secret anymore.
IQoo 7 was launched in its home country back in January at a starting price of CNY3,798 (roughly ₹42,000). It comes in two variants based on 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. You get a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 1000Hz. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the screen. Besides a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the smartphone also has a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery, which also supports 120W fast charging.
