Moto G8 Power Lite with 5,000mAh battery launched in India

Motorola's latest budget phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery.

Shortly after launching its flagship Moto Edge+ in India, Motorola has launched a new budget offering. Moto G8 Power Lite comes with a triple camera setup, 5,000mAh battery and an HD+ display.

Moto G8 Power Lite is priced at ₹8,999, and it will be available on Flipkart from May 29 onwards. The smartphone comes in only one storage variant. Moto G8 Power Lite also has two colour options of ‘Royal Blue' and ‘Arctic Blue'.

In terms of specs, Moto G8 Power Lite features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

Moto G8 Power Lite packs a 5,000mAh battery which is claimed to last for more than two days on a single charge. It also comes with support for 10W rapid charging.

The triple camera setup on the Moto G8 Power Lite features a 16-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Some of its features include HDR, dual camera bokeh, timer, panorama and more. There's an 8-megapixel camera up front for selfies.

There's a fingerprint sensor at the rear, and the smartphone is also water-repellent although it doesn't have a rating. On the software front, it runs near-stock Android 9 out-of-the-box. Moto G8 Power Lite also features gesture-based Moto Actions like twisting your wrist twice to launch the camera, tapping twice to turn on the flashlight.
