Vivo's next-generation smartphone, the Vivo V21e, has been in the news for quite some time now. On one hand, Vivo has been teasing details about its upcoming smartphone via its social media handles and on the other, leaks and reports have detailed various features relating to its core specifications and even the price. Now, Vivo has finally launched the Vivo V21e smartphone in India. In effect, it was all over bar the shouting and that too was done when the official announcement was made rolling out the Vivo V21e smartphone.

Vivo V21e joins a long list of smartphones that have been released in June 2021. Realme Narzo 30, Realme Narzo 30 5G, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, Samsung Galaxy M32, Itel Magic 2 4G, Nokia 110 4G, Nokia 104 4G and many more handsets have been rolled out and mostly this is because the lockdown is gradually ending in the country and people are expected to get back to work. Vivo V21e price and availability

The Vivo V21e is available in India in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, which costs ₹24,990 in the country. It will go on sale in India starting today via mainline retail partners, Vivo India E-store, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Tatacliq and Bajaj EMI Store in Sunset Jazz and Dark Pearl colour variants.

As a part of the launch offer, Vivo is offering a cashback of ₹2,500 on the purchases made via HDFC Bank credit and debit cards and Kotak Mahindra card. Buyers can also avail Buy Now and Pay Later option with TVS Credit, ICICI Bank cards, Zest, HDB Bank cards and Home Credit.

Vivo V21e design

The newly launched Vivo V21e features a 6.44-inch AMOLED FullView display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. It measures 160.63*73.91*7.67mm and weighs 165g for the Dark Pearl colour variant and 167g for the Sunset Jazz variant. Vivo says that the Vivo V21e's super narrow middle frame is crafted using the Vacuum Evaporation technology that gives it a metallic appearance, as well as a solid and comfortable grip.

The Vivo V21e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 system-on-chip that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, which can be expanded further using a microSD card of up to 1TB space. Vivo says that it includes the company's Extended RAM feature that lets users an additional RAM boost through a sophisticated algorithm. Additionally, the Vivo V21e comes with an Ultra Game Mode for gaming.

Vivo V21e camera

The Vivo V21e features a 32MP selfie camera. At the back, it features a dual-rear camera setup with LED flash. It has a 64MP primary sensor and an 8MP wide-angle sensor. The rear camera setup also comes with an Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) feature that provides greater stabilisation through software algorithms without the need for additional hardware when the images and the videos are bumpy.

Vivo V21e battery

The Vivo V21e is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. It features support for 44W FlashCharge inside the box, which according to the company charges the battery to 72% in 30 minutes.
